Mustapha Bengara immigrated to the United States from Morocco at the age of 21, determined to build a better future through hard work and education. Before beginning his journey in the United States, he was a competitive athlete, becoming a former Moroccan Shotokan Karate champion and soccer player. He later continued his success in martial arts as a Florida Shotokan Karate champion. His journey in America began humbly, working a variety of jobs, including housekeeping, while adapting to a new country and pursuing his goals.
Through perseverance, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of South Florida (USF). He later graduated from Barry University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), specializing in Anesthesiology, and became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Today, Mustapha is a practicing anesthesia provider who values leadership, service, and creating opportunities for others. He is dedicated to helping fellow anesthesia professionals find the right career opportunities with competitive compensation, while helping healthcare clients and facilities develop cost-effective staffing solutions that deliver meaningful savings without compromising quality of care.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, his greatest pride is his family. He is a devoted husband and proud father to SOULtan, SOULaiman, and SOULeena — the three SOULs of his life.
His journey—from competitive sports in Morocco, to humble beginnings in the United States, to a career in anesthesia and healthcare leadership—reflects his commitment to perseverance, discipline, education, family, and the belief that humble beginnings do not define how far someone can go.
